Valentine’s Day usually brings to mind warm red colors, hearts, hugs and kisses, getting together with people you love, chocolate and all kinds of sweets, little cards and kind thoughts …

It’s different this year, but we can still celebrate.  Remember, it’s all about love!

Here are some ideas from The Eastside Panther staff.

• Bake some sweet treats: cakes, cookies, chocolates, a favorite to give to your Valentine
• Watch romance movies — here are some recommendations:

  • “Valentine’s Day”
  • “50 First Dates”
  • “She’s All That”
  • “Happiest Season”
  • “Love, Simon”
  • “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”

• Send a virtual Valentine to your Valentine:  Use Google drawing to create it and attach it to an email
• Make a homemade Valentine card and give it to your Valentine in person (safely)
• Tell your family you love them: Make a family dinner and enjoy it together
